| About the recording:
Steve "Trigger" Albrecht: classical and steel string acoustic guitar (Left Speaker). Kevin "Chopper" Smith: classical and steel string acoustic guitar (Right Speaker). The solos on most of the duets are Steve. On Duet 1 the main steel solo melodies are Kevin. Basically, Kevin plays all the hard stuff. All compositions are by us. For you tech heads: Steve plays Ramírez and Taylor guitars. Kevin plays Contreras and Taylor guitars. The duets were recorded direct digitally with Fishman Aura pedals on the classical guitars. We'll get all fancy later. No, we don't have any song titles yet. Duet 1, 2 etc. works fine for us for now. Yeah, I know I didn't bring out the Strat and blast but that's next.... Here are 5 of our duets. These are basically rough live recordings done in our studio. We just sat down and recorded them in a day...flaws and all. These are not mixed or final but we wanted our friends to hear them. We hope you enjoy the music. - Steve and Kevin |
